一、云論壇簡介

2020蘇州大學國際青年學者"云論壇"擬定于10月15日召開。本次"云論壇"旨在集聚海內外不同學術背景的優(yōu)秀青年學者，就國際前沿科技及研究熱點在"云端"展開探討，促進國際青年學者之間的交流與合作，攜手探索科學前沿，共攀學術高峰。

二、邀請對象

1、年齡一般應在40周歲以下（1980年1月1日以后出生）。

2、國內受邀者應具備下列條件之一：入圍"國家優(yōu)秀青年科學基金"獲得者等國家人才計劃；或達到相應水平的優(yōu)秀人才。

3、海外受邀者應具備下列條件：具有海外知名大學博士學位；或者具有國內博士學位，并有2年以上連續(xù)海外科研工作經(jīng)歷。

三、人才待遇

學校對于國家人才或達到相應水平的優(yōu)秀人才提供協(xié)議年薪、安家補貼、學術啟動經(jīng)費，以及必要的辦公條件和場所。有關待遇如下：

（一）崗位及待遇

1、崗位：特聘教授、博士生導師。

2、薪酬：35-60萬元+有關獎勵，上不封頂。

3、安家補貼：200-475萬（含地方政府配套補貼）。提供全裝修的過渡性人才公寓，拎包入住。

4、學術啟動經(jīng)費：人文社會科學50萬，非實驗理科60-80萬元，實驗理、工、醫(yī)科80-200萬元?？筛鶕?jù)需要另行提供大型儀器設備費。

（二）支持措施

1、優(yōu)先推薦申報江蘇省"雙創(chuàng)計劃"，對入選的雙創(chuàng)人才，三年內省級財政給予總共300萬元、100萬元或50萬元的創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)資金資助；對入選的雙創(chuàng)團隊，三年內省級財政給予總共300-800萬元的人才經(jīng)費資助。

2、優(yōu)先推薦申報"江蘇特聘教授"，如入選，聘期三年內，省級財政給予每人每年12萬元的崗位津貼，對自然科學類、人文社會科學類分別提供100萬元（特別優(yōu)秀的提供200萬元）、50萬元的科研經(jīng)費。

3、優(yōu)先推薦申報蘇州市"姑蘇創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)領軍人才"，蘇州市"引才補貼"、"樂居工程"、"優(yōu)秀人才貢獻獎勵"，蘇州工業(yè)園區(qū)"金雞湖人才計劃"等人才項目。

4、其他：充足的辦公實驗室用房，支持組建科研團隊，博、碩士招生指標予以政策性傾斜，協(xié)助解決配偶工作及子女入學，提供附屬醫(yī)院便捷就醫(yī)條件。

located in the historic and cultural city of suzhou and founded in 1900, soochow university is a key national "project 211" university, and one of the first institutions selected for "plan 2011" in china. it is listed into "double first-class" initiative jointly built by the ministry of education and jiangsu provincial people's government. it is also a provincial key comprehensive university sponsored by the state administration of science, technology and industry for national defense and jiangsu provincial people's government. in 2020, it was ranked 39th globally and 11th domestically in the nature index. it is ranked the 18th domestically in the 2020 the university ranking. currently, fourteen of its disciplines -- chemistry, physics, materials science, clinical medicine, engineering, pharmacy and toxicology, biology and biological chemistry, neurology and behavioral science, molecular biology and genetics, immunology, mathematics, computer sciences, agricultural sciences, environmental science and ecology-- are ranked the top 1% of the thomson reuters essential science indicators（esi）ranking. chemistry and materials science are ranked the top 1‰.

nowadays, with an active spirit, an open mind and an international horizon, all the faculty of soochow university are sparing no effort in building up a world-renowned research-oriented university. at the 120th anniversary of soochow university, we hereby invite international scholars to the 2020 soochow university online forum for international young scholars.

i. about the online forum

the 2020 online forum for international young scholars will commence on oct. 15th. it aims to gather outstanding young international scholars from different academic backgrounds to have online discussions of the latest issues in science and technology, to promote their collaboration and their joint exploration of the frontiers of science, as well as their progress toward greater academic achievements.

ii. participant requirements

1. under the age of 40（born after january 1, 1980）;

2. for scholars from china: shortlisted for "four youth talent plans", e.g. awarded by the "outstanding youth of science foundation", or recipient of similar levels of recognition for young scholars;

3. for overseas scholars: holder of a doctorate degree from a prestigious overseas university, or holder of a doctorate degree from a chinese university, plus at least 2 years of consecutive scientific research experience overseas.

iii. pay and benefits

soochow university provides the following pay and benefits for excellent scholars who are selected for "four youth talent plans" or of similar levels of recognition:

a. title and pay

1. title: distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor;

2. pay: rmb 350,000-600,000 annually and related rewards without cap;

3. relocation: rmb 2,000,000-4,750,000（this includes subsidiaries provided by the local government）; fully decorated short-term accommodation.

4. research support funding: rmb 500,000 for scholars in the humanities and social sciences, rmb 600,000-800,000 for scholars in non-experimental sciences, rmb 800,000-2,000,000 for those in experimental sciences, engineering and medicine. large-scale equipment and apparatus may be provided as needed;

b. benefits

1. priority recommendations for applying "innovation and entrepreneurship program". successful individual applicants will be funded with rmb 3,000,000, 1,000,000 or 500,000 within 3 years. successful group applicants will be funded with rmb 3,000,000-8,000,000.

2. priority recommendations for applying "distinguished professor of jiangsu province". successful candidates will be awarded rmb 120,000 / year for three years in the employment term, and a research fund of rmb 1,000,000（rmb 2,000,000 for excellent ones）and 500,000 for natural sciences and liberal arts respectively.

3. priority recommendations for applying various talent programs in suzhou, e.g. "leading talents of innovation and entrepreneurship in gusu district", "talent subsidy", "easier settling project", "reward for contribution of outstanding talents" and sip's "jinji lake talent plan".

4. other benefits include: spatial offices and labs, support for establishing research groups, priority for recruiting students, job and school recommendations for spouse and offspring and convenient medical care.
